MohBad was a popular Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter. MohBad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba and who was born in Lagos on June 8, 1996, was a multi-talented Nigerian musician who was famous as a rapper, singer, and composer.

It was via his involvement with Naira Marley’s Marlian Records that he shot to stardom, although he parted ways with the label in 2022. It was MohBad’s collaboration with Rexxie on “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” that launched him to prominence and earned him three Headies Award nominations in 2022.

MohBad’s career was defined by hit singles such as “Ponmo” and “Feel Good,” but it was MohBad’s partnership with Rexxie on “KPK (Ko Por Ke)” that propelled him to stardom.

MohBad made significant contributions to Nigerian music, and despite the fact that he passed away at an unfortunate age on September 12, 2023, his work is still recognized and remembered.

His debut album, titled “Light EP,” was published in the latter half of 2020. He was recognized as one of the top 21 Afrobeat performers by Audiomack in 2021 and received five nominations at The Beatz Awards in 2021.

In 2022, he expanded on the success he had achieved with “Peace,” which was produced by Rexxie, and he consistently did well on the TurnTable charts, which reflected his growing popularity.

MohBad’s debut extended play (EP) highlighted his versatility and featured collaborations with renowned musicians. Naira Marley served as executive producer for the project.
